If you’re a Whovian, you know that a big part of the identity of Doctor Who depends on his wardrobe. It’s what helps to make each Doctor unique and identifiable. Well, we’ve been waiting to see what Peter Capaldi is going to wear as the 12th Doctor, and now we know:
Okay, so the outfit isn’t bad. I like it… Just not for the 12th Doctor. I guess it’s just not working on him. I think on a younger Doctor it would look eclectic and hipster-y. On Capaldi, it just looks like he raided his 21 year old hipster/Emo son’s wardrobe.
And I can’t get over the fact that he reminds me of Little Lord Fauntleroy-meets-1960s Mod:
Whatever the case, it doesn’t matter. I just want to the new season make it to BBC America already.
Oh, that stampede you just heard was all the fanboys and fangirls rushing to their sewing machines to get started on their new Doctor Who cosplay. Hell, I might even partake myself.
