Ah… I’ve been eagerly anticipating finding my next favorite video game to lose myself in on the weekends, and DONTNOD Entertainment’s upcoming game, Vampyr, looks like it might be it. For one, it features one of my favorite time periods to explore and a vampire. As a Kim Newman fan, this is quite a treat. Vampyr follows the story of one Jonathan Reid, a doctor and vampire living (kinda) and working in London during the Spanish Flu pandemic in 1918. In a way it reminds me of Dishonored in the sense that it is an RPG where the player’s choices affect the outcome of the game at the end. Players will have to watch who they feed on or all hell might break loose.
