First OLDBOY Movie Poster Featuring Josh Brolin Revealed!

It’s time!  The promo machine for the Oldboy remake starring Josh Brolin is in full effect with the first movie poster unveiled today.  Brolin finds himself in the middle of a field getting out of a trunk as a young lady in a colorful kimono-like garment walks away in the distance.  Check it out:

I’m interested in seeing Spike Lee’s take on the Korean cult classic.  The original Oldboy released in 2003, directed by Park Chan-wook, is a psychological thriller that is an awesome mix of dark comedy and tragedy that tends to mix some of our worst fears with the taboo for an ending that we couldn’t possibly have foreseen.

I can’t wait to see it.

Synopsis:

An advertising executive is kidnapped and held hostage for 20 years in solitary confinement. When he is inexplicably released, he embarks on an obsessive mission to discover who orchestrated his punishment, only to find he is still trapped in a web of conspiracy and torment.
