Last night’s Game of Thrones Season 2 finale, “Valar Morghulis”, was the end to a very bittersweet season for us.

As book reader, we were a bit underwhelmed with most of the season. But the last two episodes were masterful for the most part. And boy, can we talk about that ending?

What did you think of last night’s Game of Thrones Season 2 Finale? And how awesome was Jaqen H’ghar? It was a cruel waste of Tom Wlaschiha’s acting talents and looks overall just to have him show up here and there. Let’s hope the writers get it together next season.

Instead of making a big long post, we decided to just try a video recap of Game of Thrones S2E7, “A Man Without Honor”. We talk about Jon Snow and Ygritte overly tense moments, Catelyn, Brienne and Jamie’s very tense conversation (which will lead to big changes believe that), Robb and Jeyne Westerling’s budding romance and Cersei’s moments of tenderness. Check it out!

Please believe that they are already setting the tone for the next season, in fact there are parts that have jumped ahead, while others have moved slowly. The meeting between Catelyn and Jamie, with Brienne standing guard is basically indicating that we are pretty much close to an end.

Sansa finds herself in a compromising position now that she is basically a woman, and Arya gets close to Tywin Lannister which is an interesting deviation from the books. The most annoying deviation was Jon Snow and Ygritte, which was hard to watch because it was just so bizarre. Ygritte was basically sex crazed, and we are not quite sure why the writers wrote her that way. Ygritte’s sexual, but not sexually deprived/depraved. Two different things.

Either way, we hope you enjoy!

Yesterday, we went to go see The Avengers, so we just HAD to do a review. Yeah, we were originally going to write up a review, but we decided to let the video speak for itself. Here is our SPOILER-FREE review of Marvel’s The Avengers in IMAX 3D.

If you haven’t seen The Avengers yet, go do that. If you can, go see it in 3D or IMAX 3D. The experience was unreal and I became a self-avowed Hiddlestoner watching this film. I can’t wait to see him in Thor 2. There will never be a better Loki if you ask me.

Lots of hilarious parts and lots of action. There was one sad, sobering part and I still can’t believe it. NO spoilers though. See the review below and let us know what you think!
