Indie Spotlight: ZOMBIE NINJAS vs BLACK OPS Official Trailer – GeekMundo

Imagine a movie featuring zombies, but the zombies aren’t the basic bitch zombies that we’re accustomed to seeing on TV and movies.  Oh no… These zombies are highly trained, undead killing machines and they’re here to fuck your whole life up.  Have no fear… Well, at least not too much fear because imagine a team of highly trained killers and shooters that are on your side because, well, they’re living, breathing human beings jut like you.  Well, then you’d have a very simplified synopsis of Zombie Ninjas vs Black Ops, an Australian indie horror movie coming to video on-demand in the US and Canada on October 15th.

I love horror movies, and as an aspiring filmmaker–if I ever get my head out of my arse, anyway–I’m happy to support someone else who was on their grind, and actually made a movie.  Based on the trailer below, they definitely put their best foot forward.  Check it out:

Synopsis:

Zombie Ninjas vs Black Ops continues the web series comic and takes place in the clandestine research tower of a ruthless Japanese security and arms company, Saisei Security. When a scientist awakens employed mercenaries killed in combat, their death gives rise to a new, vicious breed of zombie—zombie ninjas.

Trapped among unsuspecting civilians, including former tactical operative DILLON (Adam T Perkins), the zombie ninjas who are commanded by a ferocious leader (UFC Fighter, Soa ‘The Hulk’ Palelei) are unleashed in the inner city high-rise. They soon must face off with the covert response team deployed to contain them. This elite black ops team underestimates the brutality of their mission. Their loyalty and friendship is tested and results in a frightful battle between these two highly skilled lethal forces with DILLON thrust in the middle—fighting for his and the other civilians’ survival.

I will say that I would have liked to see more of the zombies than the good guys in the trailer, but hey, as long as they have plenty of undead in the movie, I’m good.  With Halloween around the corner, I’m certainly excited to watch the film for our annual 31 Days of Horror blogathon.
