Donatello, Michaelangelo, Raphael, and Leonardo are back like they never left in the first official trailer for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Out of the Shadows (Paramount/Nickelodeon). If you thought the last TMNT movie was short on action, you shouldn’t have that complaint with the sequel. And of course being that Michael Bay is involved in the film you know he couldn’t resist getting a little shot of Megan Fox‘s skin thrown in there. One scene in the trailer shows her dressed in a very Britney-esque schoolgirl outfit… Yes, I’m just as confused as you will be when you see it. Still, I’m excited because some old rivals and an ally finally make their debut in the film. You’ll want to pay attention to the trailer because it definitely is bringing that old thing back. 90s kids, you know what I’m talking about.
Oh, and look for WWE superstar Sheamus‘ blink-and-you’ll-miss-it cameo.
TMNT 2 also stars Alan Ritchson, Noel Fisher, Pete Ploszek, Jeremy Howard, Stephen Amell, Tyler Perry, Brian Tee, Laura Linney, and Gary Anthony Williams.
The plot hasn’t been revealed yet, unfortunately. But judging from the trailer Shredder (Brian Tee) is at his usual evil antics again, except for this time he has a lot more help. Then again, so do the Turtles. Out of the Shadows hits theaters June 3rd, 2016.
