The creators of Paranorman and Coraline are back with a new dark animated flick with The Boxtrolls, and we’ve got the first official poster for the film. The slightly neglected children continues in this flick, as one orphaned boy lives in the sewers with a group of trolls who inhabit boxes.
The Boxtrolls stars the voice talents of Ben Kingsley (Iron Man 3), Isaac Hempstead-Wright (Game of Thrones), Elle Fanning (Maleficent), Tracy Morgan (30 Rock), Richard Ayoade (The IT Crowd), Nick Frost and Simon Pegg (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz), Jared Harris (Mad Men), and Toni Collette (Little Miss Sunshine), and is based on Alan Snow’s book Here Be Monsters.
Synopsis:
An orphaned boy raised by underground creatures called Boxtrolls comes up from the sewers and out of his box to save his family and the town from the evil exterminator, Arichibald Snatcher.
