Warner Bros and Peter Jackson has released a new TV spot for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug and boy is it epic looking. The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug picks up with the Dwarves, Bilbo and Gandalf have successfully escaped the Misty Mountains, and Bilbo has gained the One Ring. They all continue their journey to reclaim their homeland and gold from the Dragon Smaug. The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug hits theaters on December 13th 2013. The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug is directed by Peter Jackson and stars Martin Freeman, Ian McKellen and Richard Armitage.
Plot Synopsis: The second in a trilogy of films adapting the enduringly popular masterpiece The Hobbit, by J.R.R. Tolkien, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug continues the adventure of the title character Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) as he journeys with the Wizard Gandalf (Ian McKellen) and thirteen Dwarves, led by Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage) on an epic quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor.
