In case you’ve been mercifully ignorant, he’s the author of The Notebook and his novels have been made into eight movies. This is why Best of Me’s movie poster seemed so familiar. The Last Song starring pre-crackhead Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth
The Lucky One starring Taylor Schilling (OITNB) and Zac Efron
Safe Haven starring Josh Duhamel and Julianne “Blackface” Hough
