Tom Hiddleston is determined to make sure you know he can act his arse off and his latest role in the Hank Williams biopic I Saw the Light is further proof if the film is as good as the trailer looks. In the trailer, we see Hiddleston and his costar Elizabeth Olsen as Mr. and Mrs. Williams living the idyllic married life until his drinking starts to get out of hand. And not too far behind the drinking is the philandering and the side chicks, which only leads to his inevitable destruction.
The film is based on the Hank Williams: The Biography by Colin Escott and premieres on March 25th in New York and Los Angeles. Wide release will obviously come later once they see how well it does, I’m sure.
