Alliances are created and tested as the X-Men battle their common and most formidable enemy yet. Check it out:
See, the thing is we get a lot of awesome forlorn or ferociously indignant looks from the X-Men: Days of Future Past cast, but not enough of their adversaries. Yes, their relationships are strained. That’s good and everything, but I wanted to see more of the sentinels from Trask Industries that they are going to be facing.
On the plus side, Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) looks great, and so does Storm (Halle Berry). They are definitely back in full effect and look even better than in prior X-Men movies if you ask me. Maybe it’s because they age like fine wine… And Halle’s rocking a better wig. Speaking of fine, can we talk about the very real possibility that Magneto (Michael Fassbender and Sir Ian McKellen) will steal the show again? In X-Men: First Class, he stole the show for me, and made the entire movie. That scene with the Nazis in hiding in that tavern? Then again, there’s very little Fassbender could do that would not kick ass. I am here for it.
